Homage to our beloved Chairman

Shri Naresh Chandra
Chairman, Gammon Infrastructure Projects Limited
(1934-2017)

With profound grief, we inform the sad demise of Shri Naresh Chandra, our beloved Chairman on July 9, 2017. He was an IAS and also served as the Ambassador of India to the United States of America. He was awarded with Padma Vibhushan in the year 2007.

It was a privilege and honour for the company to have him as one of the Founder Directors of the company since the time the company was listed in 2007-08.
He was always like a father-figure to all of us at Gammon and mentor to our promoters.
He was instrumental in guiding us to take important strategic decisions especially when the company went through critical phase. He helped in stabilizing the company’s overall present and future outlook in the field of corporate governance. We owe immense gratitude to his noble soul who thought above and beyond his own-self.

He served the nation until his last breath, a true servant of Modern India. His gracious leadership will always to missed. With his passing away, we have lost a father-figure whose can never be taken by anyone.
